2024年4月5日(金)より4月28日(日)まで、
入江清美による展覧会 - sheer bliss - を開催いたします。
入江清美は、陶器のように重厚な質感を持った絵画のほか、陶芸作品なども手がけるアーティストです。多摩美術大学大学院を修了してから現在に至るまで、日常のあらゆる場面から着想を得ながら、実に数多くの作品を意欲的に制作し、発表をしてきました。「言い得て妙」なタイトルが付けられた作品は、躍動感にあふれ、プリミティブな力強さを持ちながらも洗練された雰囲気。そうした数々の作品は、多くのアートコレクターのみならず、建築家などを魅了してきました。
今回の展覧会タイトル”Sheer Bliss”とは「至上の幸福」という意味。これまで落ち着いた色合いの作品が多かったアーティストが敢えて挑む温かな色彩。それは、自身のアートが社会や文化、そして人々に対して果たす役割を真摯に考えるアーティストが、今の暗澹とした世界に送る心からのメッセージです。

Fuji Gallery Shinjuku, located on the basement floor of the Hilton Tokyo in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo, is pleased to announce that Kiyomi IRIE’s solo exhibition “Sheer Bliss” will be held from Friday 5th until Sunday 28th of April 2024.
Kiyomi Irie is an artist who works with ceramic works as well as paintings with a heavy texture like ceramics. Since completing her postgraduate studies at Tama Art University, she has ambitiously produced and exhibited a large number of works inspired by everyday situations. The works, with their 'aptly titled' titles, are full of dynamism and have a primitive strength and yet sophisticated atmosphere. These works have attracted many art collectors as well as architects.
The exhibition title "Sheer Bliss" means "supreme happiness". The artist has often used subdued colours in her work, but she dares to use warmer colours in this exhibition. It is her heartfelt message from an artist who sincerely believes in the role his art can play for society, culture and people, in the current gloomy world.

ー この世の災厄を煮詰めた事象に辟易とする最中、私は暖かい場所で絵を描いています。
「アーティストの社会における役割とは？」これは不変のテーマであり、未来へのアプローチとアンチテーゼでなければなりません。アートは第三者がどう感じるかによって成立します。心が喜ぶ、時には不安、怒り、悲しみのような揺らぎも必要です。それは人間が人間らしく生きるための糧であるように思います。今作はアートが社会へもたらす闇への気づきとは裏腹に、癒しの糧であればと希います。
全ての人に至上の幸福―sheer bliss―を。
Disasters, war, maladministration, death.
I am painting in a warm place while we are fed up with the simmering calamities of this world.
'What is the role of the artist in society?' This is a constant theme and must be the approach and antithesis of the future. Art is founded on how a third party feels. It needs to please the heart, and sometimes it needs to fluctuate, like anxiety, anger and sadness. It seems to me that this is the food for human beings to live like human beings.
Despite the awareness of the darkness that art brings to society, I hope that this work is a source of healing.
I wish everyone the best of happiness - sheer bliss!
