フジギャラリー新宿では、2025年2月14日（金）〜3月30日（日）まで、伊藤朋子による展覧会 “Vibes in the Air“を開催いたします。

西新宿のヒルトン東京地下1階に位置するフジギャラリー新宿では、2025年6月14日（土）より7月27日（日）まで、無彩色をテーマとした展覧会「A Chroma : 白と黒、そしてその界隈」を開催いたします。

白と黒、そしてグレーは、色相と彩度をもたない無彩色（Achromatic colors）。これらの色を基調とした作品は、色彩がもつイメージや情報が非常に限られているため、鑑賞者が自身の感性や経験をもとに自由な解釈を行うことができる点が大きな魅力のひとつです。

梅雨が明け、街に陽光が差し込む頃、鮮やかな装いの人々や濃さを増した木々の緑が街を彩ります。そうした季節において、あえて入江清美、青木愛弓、松下誠子、谷村メイチンロマーナという表現方法もテーマも異なる4名のアーティストによる無彩色作品を一堂に集め、その静謐な魅力をご紹介いたします。「色彩」を排した表現に焦点を当てる本展が、色の情報に左右されないからこそ見えてくる繊細な形や質感、そしてアーティストたちの思考や問いかけに触れるきっかけとなれば幸いです。

1980年: 神奈川県生まれ
2004年: 多摩美術大学絵画学科油画専攻卒業
2006年: 多摩美術大学大学院美術研究科油画専攻修了

藤国際文化育英財団第14期奨学生。
フジギャラリー新宿などでの個展のほか、グループ展多数。
香港、台湾、シンガポール、中国、フランスなどのアートフェアに参加。
作品は個人邸や住宅メーカーなどに多数収蔵されている。

谷村メイチンロマーナ / Romana Machin TANIMURA

1998年: 東京都生まれ
2021年: 東北芸術工科大学美術科洋画コース卒業
クマ財団クリエイター奨学金第5期生
2023年: 東北芸術工科大学大学院総合芸術領域修了

個展に加え、国内外のグループ展にも多数参加。
発泡ウレタンやグルースティックを用いた絵画・立体作品を制作。
近年は陶による立体作品や骨壺状の作品も手がけている。

松下誠子 / Seiko MATSUSHITA

: 北海道函館市生まれ、神奈川県在住
: 共立女子大学卒業後、金工を学ぶ

1990年代より、固定観念や抑圧的な社会における女性たちの葛藤や抵抗をテーマに、インスタレーション、絵画、立体、写真、パフォーマンス、アニメーションなど多様な手法で表現。国内外にて個展、グループ展多数。

Fuji Gallery Shinjuku, located on the basement floor of Hilton Tokyo in Nishi-Shinjuku, is pleased to present “A-Chroma: Black, White and In Between,” a group exhibition themed around achromatic colors, on view from June 14 (Sat) through July 27 (Sun), 2025.

Black, white, and gray are known as achromatic colors without hue or saturation. Works rendered in these tones are characterized by the absence of overt color information, offering viewers a greater degree of interpretive freedom based on their sensitivities and experiences. This, in turn, becomes one of the most compelling aspects of such expressions.

As the rainy season gives way to brilliant sunshine and the city comes alive with vividly dressed people and lush greenery, this exhibition deliberately turns away from color, focusing instead on achromatic works that reveal a quieter, more contemplative visual language. Featuring the achromatic works of four artists—Kiyomi IRIE, Ayumi AOKI, Seiko MATSUSHITA, and Romana Machin TANIMURA — this exhibition invites viewers to explore the quiet beauty that emerges in the absence of color.

By focusing on expressions that deliberately eschew color, A-Chroma seeks to reveal the subtle contours, textures, and the underlying inquiries and contemplations of the artists, elements that might otherwise be overlooked. We hope the exhibition offers a moment of stillness, insight, and renewed ways of seeing.

: Born in 1998, Tokyo

5th-term recipient of the Kuma Foundation Creator Scholarship
2023年: MFA in Integrated Arts, Tohoku University of Art & Design

In addition to solo exhibitions, participated in group shows in Japan and abroad.
Works include paintings and sculptures using spray polyurethane foam and glue sticks.
Recent works include ceramic sculptures and urn-like forms.

松下誠子 / Seiko MATSUSHITA

: Born in Hakodate, Hokkaido; based in Kanagawa Prefecture
: Studied metalwork after graduating from Kyoritsu Women’s University

Since the 1990s, works have explored themes of resistance and conflict experienced by women in a society bound by stereotypes and oppression.
Media include installation, painting, sculpture, photography, performance, and animation.
Has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad.
